LAW Faculty Erasmus + Study Mobility Outgoing Students Application for
The academic year 2016-2017 Fall and Spring semesters
 
 
1 – Who can apply?
           
Law students who have at least 60 ECTS completed at the time of application, including 10 ECTS from courses given in English.
 
2 – Application deadlines:
 
Start of applications: 18 March, 2016
End of applications: 15 April, 2016
Spoken English Exam 18-22 April, 2016
Announcement of results: 25 April, 2016
Latest withdrawal date: 2 May, 2016

4 – How to apply?
 
Send an email to international.office@mef.edu.tr with Law Study Mobility and your name, last name and MEF student ID number on the subject line, and in the body of the message first list your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice for exchange destination from the list above and a 300 word statement of motivation to be included in the Erasmus+ exchange program and for your top choice of partner institution.
 
5 – Ranking Criteria:
 
CGPA: 50%
Language Proficiency: 50%
 
Minimum CGPA: 2.20
 
Method of determining language proficiency for English:
  • 75% average of ENG 101 and ENG 102;
  • 25% spoken English proficiency exam
 
For other languages than English (depending on the language of education at the partner institution): official language certificate required (at least B2 level)
           
7 – Amount of Mobility Grant:
 
Mobility grants are never guaranteed or meant to cover the full cost of the stay.  Mobility grants are allocated in the ranking order according to the criteria above.

8 – End Provisions:
 
Nominated students may decline the mobility grant if they wish so. If a student applies but does not attend the spoken English exam, that student will receive a 10-point deduction in his/her next Erasmus+ application. Students who are nominated can withdraw until the announced withdrawal date without any further penalty. If a student withdraws after the withdrawal date, he/she will receive a 10-point deduction in his/her next Erasmus+ application.
